| For the past five weeks KC 107.7 hosted several political parties for the special Elections Debate, in collaboration with the Mandy Rossouw School of Community Journalism.

This week we hosted the Economic Freedom Fighters represented by Thembile Klaas, Freedom Front Plus represented by Andre Fourie, and the National Freedom Party represented by their Drakenstein Mayoral candidate Alvina Abrahams. The political parties debated on the socioeconomic issues that are affecting the Drakenstein residents which include, poverty alleviation, unemployment and clean governance, and their possible solution policies they plan to introduce, should they be elected.
