Archbishop Desmond Tutu, more affectionately known as Arch, celebrated his 90th birthday on the 7 October 2021. A recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, anti-apartheid activist and human rights activist. The Arch has certainly lived a life worth not only celebrating, but also a life we can admire and learn from. For this very reason Marlene Le Roux, who the Arch calls “ousie” chated to the Breakfast team to pay tribute to his life, which she characterizes as servant leadership.
Marlene also makes mention that the Arch has done many great things and has delivered many teachings, but the greatest of all is that he lived and practiced love for all.
Here’s to a life well lived, Ninety and definitely not out!
