FABIAN ADONIS ON #KCLUNCH

This week on #KCLunch, Fabian Adonis, a Breast Cancer Survivor, came to talk with Avril Esterhuizen about his experience.

Fabian explained how his cancer journey c with commenced with him only being able to sleep on one side of his body. After a visit to the Doctor, some blood tests and tissue samples, Fabian was transferred to Tygerberg Hospital in the X-Block – where the Specialist informed him that his tests returned – confirming Breast Cancer. 

Fabian explained that he was in denial – but agreed to go for therapy after a lump under his arm they removed. He has since made a full recovery and would like to encourage men to go and test themselves for any form of cancer throughout November, which is also Men’s Health Month.
